Nothing Happened

Last Tuesday, on March 27th, absolutely nothing happened. Regarding the issue, we got confirmation from several people talking about it in the “VRChat General” Discord channel.

“On 27th I was working on my world, and as far as I know, nothing wrong happened, at least on the vrchat servers...” Bornato said. However, it turns out that nothing happened several times, not just on March 27th. Earlier, way back in January of 2018, Old Man Bryan reported, “Nothing good going on in the Nier World right now. Feels bad, man.” And even this week, on March 31st, ggthb confirmed this by saying, “Nothing special happening.”

Nowadays we are living in troubling times, as it seems that, apparently, sooner or later, nothing is going to happen once again. We interviewed the users of VRChat to figure out what they’re going to do if nothing happens again.

For example, Dark Willow, shared his own thoughts regarding the question, “If nothing’s going to happen… I’d probably do nothing.” Several people around him agreed with his answer and decided that they would probably do the same thing.

“If I’m supposed to know that nothing’s going to happen, and I’m not going to do anything so nothing’s going to happen, how the f*** am I supposed to do anything if nothing’s going to happen,” Babbi said. After the comment, she added immediately, “It just doesn’t f***ing matter if nothing’s going to happen.”

As long as nothing’s going to happen, there’s nothing to write about, so this means there’s no news to make. There is no news if there’s nothing new. After all, we got a confirmation from the lead editor of Virtual Week-ality himself, Pan Diman, that something needs to happen in order to produce a story based on events that actually happened before.

In his latest article, he explained in his own words, “As long as nothing’s going to happen, there’s nothing to write about, so this means there’s no news to make. There is no news if there’s nothing new.”
