Strawberry Cream Sauce

makes 3-4 cups (enough for 1 pound chocolate pasta)


  • 1 pint ripe strawberries, trimmed and cut into 1/4-inch dice
  • 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  1. Place prepared strawberries in a large bowl and sprinkle with sugar; stir well and set aside for a least 30 minutes.
  2. After resting for at least 30 minutes, stir in heavy cream.  
  3. Taste and add more sugar if needed.
