Original Day Family Cookbook
Ingredients:
8-inch pie shell, partially baked
1 small onion, sliced or chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
3 eggs beaten
1 cup non-fat milk, heated
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dry mustard
1-½ cups grated Swiss cheese
Vegetables such as broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, spinach or cauliflower
Directions:
In a fry pan, saute onion and pepper in oil. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Add cheese. Combine with sauted ingredients. Pour entire mixture into pie shell. Bake at 350o for 45 min. Let stand 10 min. before cutting.
