Crunchy Oat Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
¼ cup toasted wheat germ
¼ cup unprocessed bran
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup raisins or currants
Directions:
Stir together dry ingredients. In large bowl of mixer, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs' beat until fluffy. Gradually stir in flour mixture just to blend. Stir in oats, walnuts and raisins until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350o oven 9 to 10 min. or until light brown. Remove to racks to cook. Makes about 84 cookies.
