Tried half the recipe 8/13/86 and 'tis good!
Original Day Family cookbook
Ingredients:
1 quart milk, scalded
3/4 cup cracker crumbs
1 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
Directions:
Bake 3/4 hour.
Variations:

"Thanksgiving pudding is one of the central traditions of Arrowhead, and we have never come across it anywhere else. The closest recipe we've seen is in the 1896 Fanny Farmer cookbook, but it is not identical."
