Kiss Pudding

Kay Rollins used to make a Kiss Pudding. Found this recipe in a Portland College Club cookbook.

Original Day Family cookbook

Ingredients:

Part 1:

    • 1 pint milk

    • 3 egg yolks

    • 1 tablespoon corn starch

    • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Part 2:

    • 3 egg whites

    • ½ cup sugar

    • 1 square chocolate, melted

Directions:

Part 1: Cook over hot water til thickened, adding vanilla last.

Part 2: Beat egg whites til stiff, gradually add sugar and lastly chocolate, which has been slightly cooled. Place on top of Part 1 in sherbert glasses -top with cherry.
