Serve with ham
Ingredients:
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
1 tablespoon water
½ cup white vinegar [for more piquant flavor, use 1 cup vinegar and no water]
½ cup water
dash salt
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Directions:
Beat eggs well. Combine sugar and dry mustard. Beat into eggs. Soften gelatin in 1 tablespoon water. Add to egg mix with white vinegar and ½ cup water. Add dash salt. Cook in double boiler over simmering water,stir occasionally, until thickened. Cool by stirring over pan of cold water. When cook, fold in heavy cream, whipped. Oil 1-½ qt. ring mold. Chill
