Original Day Family Cookbook
Ingredients:
1 lb. shrimp meat
½ lb. scallops
½ lb. fresh mushrooms
1 medium onion
2-3 tablespoon oil
3 large stalks celery, chopped small
2-3 tablespoon flour
1 cup evaporated milk
1 can minced clams
1 cup buttered bread crumbs
grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Cook shrimp and scallops in boiling salted water 1 minute only. Drain most of juice and reserve.
Saute mushrooms and onion in 2-3 tablespoon oil. Add celery, chopped small. Mix flour evaporated milk, gradually; then add to onion and mushrooms. Stir rapidly. Add shrimps, scallops and minced clams. If too thick add liquid from shrimp and scallops water. Place in buttered casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs. Shake grated Parmesan cheese over all. Bake in 350o oven 15 min. Serves 6.
