Original Day Family Cookbook
Ingredients:
4 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 cups coarsely chopped celery
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoonlemon juice
1 teaspoonsalt
1 tablespoongrated onion
4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
Topping:
1 cup (4 ounces) grated cheese
1-½ cups crushed potato chips
2/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
Directions:
Combine all the salad ingredients in a good-sized bowl and toss.
Transfer to a buttered 9x13 baking dish.
Top salad with layers of cheese, potato chips and almonds.
Refrigerate overnight.
Let come to room temperature before placing in a 400o oven.
Bake 25-30 min, or until heated through.
