Original Day Family Cookbook
Basic proportions for 1 pound of pasta (4 servings)
Ingredients:
4 tablespoon butter
1 cup heavy cream
2 - 3 ounces of freshly grated parmesan cheese (Four ounces of cheese equals 1 cup grated)
Freshly grated nutmeg and pepper
Directions:
Melt butter in a saucepan over very low heat. Gradually add the cream and parmesan. Stir over very low heat until cheese has melted. Add some nutmeg and pepper to taste. Toss freshly cooked pasta with cream sauce and serve immediately.
