High Fiber Wheat and Oat Bars

Ingredients:
1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/3 cups whole wheat flour
1-1/3 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt.
1 large fresh nectarine or peach, pitted and finely chopped
Directions:
Cream butter with sugar. Mix in flours, oats, cinnamon and salt until all are well blended. Press 3-½ cups of the crumb mixture into bottom of 13x9" baking pan. Bake in a 375o oven for 10 mins. Top with even layer of nectarines or peaches. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Press into nectarine layer. Return to oven for 20 mins. or until lightly browned.
