A frozen make-ahead delicious company dessert.

Ingredients:
1 9-inch baked pie shell
1 10-ounce package frozen strawberries
2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup heavy cream, whipped
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Be certain the larger bowl of your mixer and the beaters are SPOTLESSLY clean, or the egg whites might not beat up as they should. Place bowl and beaters in refrigerator to chill. Thaw strawberries to a mushy state. Make certain this is a 10-OUNCE PACKAGE.
Turn mushy strawberries into bowl, add the unbeaten egg whites, salt, sugar and lemon juice. Beat for 15 min. at highest speed on your electric mixer.
In the meantime, whip ½ cup heavy cream using your regular eggbeater. Add vanilla and gently fold into the strawberry mixture. Turn into baked pie shell. Place pie in freezer. Serve frozen. Keep frozen not more than 3 or 4 days.
