Original Day Family cookbook
Ingredients:
1 pkg. white, yellow or almond cake mix
1 3-oz. pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup cold water OR 1 cup club soda
3/4 cup cooking oil OR 1 cup oil
4 eggs OR 3 eggs
Directions:
Mix together cake mix and pudding mix. Add eggs one at a time, beating well at low speed. Then increase speed and continue to beat 5 mins. Bake in greased floured 10 inch Bundt or angel cake pan at 350o for 50 min. Cool 10-15 mins. before removing from pan. Garnish with chopped nuts.
We prefer it plain, but it can be frosted.
Frosting:
Blend: 1-½ cups cold milk,
l env. Dream Whip whipped topping mix
l pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix.
Whip until thickened, about 5 min.
