Original Day Family cookbook
Ingredients:
¼ cup buter
½ cup sugar
2 egg yolks
3 tablespoonlemon juice
2 tablespoon flour
¼ cup Grapenuts
1 cup milk
2 egg whites, beaten
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks and beat until light and fluffy. Add lemon juice, flour, grapenuts and milk. Mixture will look curdled. Fold in beaten egg whites, pour in casserole, set in pan of hot water and bake at 350o degrees for about 40 min. Top warm pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
