Ingredients:
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
Juice and rind of one orange
Juice and rind of ½ lemon
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar and salt. Grate rind of orange; add it, then juice from orange. Grate ½ lemon rid, then add juice. Cook these ingredients together until thickened, stirring constantly, in top of double boiler. If you prefer, this part of sauce may be cooked way ahead of time. Then on day you are to serve sauce, fold into the cold sauce ½ pint cream, whipped.
