Lesson 1. knowing the Unknowable

QUESTION 1:

"Does anything exist that is unchangeable, absolute and forever?"

ANSWER 1:

…"The sum, the totality, the whole of everything that exists is always there, even if its content continuously changes. Small and big, all that makes up the universe is part of this total and is therefore 'helping' life happen. Compare it with how a person functions with millions of different parts, including unseen activities like thinking and feeling. Certain parts may fail, yet the unit remains intact as one person during one's lifetime. So it is with the totality of all. It is always there. It is forever. It is the only unchanging fact in all of existence. The total of all that exists, while its volume and content may expand, remains a constant, eternal and reliable given. In this unchangeable and never stagnant space every person, every thing and every realm operates."

ALL THAT EXISTS AS PART WITHIN THE WHOLE OF LIFE IS FLUID

WHAT NEVER CHANGES IS THE SUM, SOURCE AND TOTAL OF ALL LIFE

LIFE INCLUDES ALSO UNSEEN AND FOR US NON-GRASPABLE SPHERES

QUESTION 2:

"Is there any limit, ending or moment of saturation that could pose a threat to existence itself?"

ANSWER 2:

… "No. The totality of all that exists expands forever in size, density and newness. For human intelligence this is all but impossible to figure out, tied as our thinking is to the earthly ideas of distance, time and place. The vastness of the galaxies and how it all began is therefore seen as a mystery. Human brains reach only so far, so they have to forgo grasping, in spite of theories, beliefs and scientific formulas. Even fantasies or dreams about life's totality have their limits. Yet, in the meantime, each person is at any moment part of the one seemingly elusive Total, whether one cares about this or not. These lessons provide a map for gaining insight that transcends the customary modes of coming to conclusions."

THE ONENESS OF LIFE INCLUDES ALSO ALL INACCESSIBLE REALMS

IN ONE'S SPIRIT, SOME CONTACT WITH THE UNKNOWN CAN OCCUR

DEEP WITHIN, ALL HUMANS YEARN FOR A SAFE PLACE IN THE TOTAL

QUESTION 3:

"Why bother with abstract and not provable issues that seem far removed from the practice of daily living?"

ANSWER 3:

… "What humans consider a normal life is in fact highly abnormal. People are used to being stuck with physical dependencies and unanswerable questions. Religions may suggest personal contact with divine powers, but even if these exist, they cannot be measured. People's prime concerns are focused on physical survival – and that as comfortable as possible. Yet the nagging question in the background is, surviving for what? Just for the short time of one's earthly life? The truth is that problems faced on earth are caused by priorities being reversed. Nothing is more concrete than life itself. All in existence portray a piece of it. They are not the totality but share being included in the glorious nature of existing."

HUMANS TEND TO BELIEVE AND TRUST ONLY WHAT CAN BE PROVEN

CAN ANYBODY KNOW FOR SURE IF REALMS 'BEYOND' EXIST OR NOT?

ONLY ONE'S PLACE IN THE TOTALITY TELLS A PERSON'S FULL IDENTITY

QUESTION 4:

"Philosophies, religions and scientific probing address the issue of what may lie beyond human observation. What about their findings?"

ANSWER 4:

… "No human being has to believe, accept or follow anything that is offered as fact, including the message of these lessons! Whatever a person's preferred ideas, as shaped by tradition, culture, holy books and personal events, the only avenue for connecting with the Totality and discovering one is at home in it, is via an honest and humble desire to find out; not in general, but for the specific individual person one is. People can decide to become aware of and listen to their deepest inner longings. They can choose to follow up on it. Then, the Totality of all will become an alive presence that can be faced and related to as a Person on each individual's own level."

FOLLOWING RELIGIOUS OR OTHER TRADITIONS IS A POTENTIAL TRAP

LIFE'S TOTAL CAN BE PERSONALLY MET WITHIN ONE'S INNERMOST SELF

THE DIRECT PRESENCE OF LIFE'S 'ALL' IS THE SECRET OF LIFE BEING ALIVE

QUESTION 5:

"Is there any value in the traditional ideas of god or gods, or in counting on divine intercession and guidance, as a society or as an individual?"

ANSWER 5:

… "These lessons are not based on any human tradition. They invite everybody to be open to the fact that the presence of life's Totality is the one and only center of all existence, including dimensions from which planet earth and its inhabitants are isolated. Subjectively, believing in a divine - preferably benevolent - superpower may satisfy human needs. The smallness, fragility and brevity of earthly life cries out for a belief in something bigger; something that covers whatever lies beyond death and cosmic horizons and will give meaning and purpose to life. However, those needs are suspect, as within each life-form the Totality dwells already as in His/Her/Its own."

UNKNOWNS TEND TO THREATEN PEOPLE, SO THEY ARE GIVEN NAMES

PEOPLE MODEL THEIR IDEAS OF 'GOD' AFTER THE POWERS THEY DO KNOW

PEOPLE KEEP ON WONDERING, YET TRUE REALITY HIDES WITHIN THEM

QUESTION 6:

"What does it mean that the totality of life can be taken as a person?"

ANSWER 6:

… "It means that every person who wants it can connect with the very heart of existence. There is no other way to experience life fully than by sensing, accepting and desiring the embrace of the One Who is the all that exists, the absolute Totality of all life, as if it is a person. Actually, it is THE Person of which the human species is an image, to a limited and quite distorted degree. So it is wise not to speak about the total in an impersonal way but to think of and relate to it as the All Who Is. This, by the way, is not meant as a name. Everything that exists is relative to this personal Center since all life-forms are emanated from there. The ensuing relationship can be denied or ignored but not one-sidedly broken."

ALL THAT EXISTS IS RELATIVE TO THE ONE WHO IS THE ONLY 'I AM' OF ALL

DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, LIFE STEMS FROM ONE COMMON SOURCE

EARTH'S PURPOSEFULLY ISOLATED POSITION BLURS LIFE'S ONENESS

QUESTION 7:

"Is there any way to convincingly verify that the ALL of all existence is as a person?"

ANSWER 7:

… "For stating that life's totality is as a person, no proof will satisfy inquisitive minds or those desiring clear tokens of it. Life on earth, like the planet itself, is so isolated, displaced, out of touch and corrupted in terms of allowing proper observations and experiences, that nothing can directly and convincingly provide insight in and proof of the full reality as it exists outside of the negative state. Human life may seem normal. But it is not. Making the best of what one has seems the sensible thing to do. And this often pays off nicely. But to find the secret of life, to bask in the light of eternity and to feel embraced by life's I AM as one's lover and companion, only one road gives access to that."

NO FAITH IN A BEYOND 'OUT THERE' MATTERS; HERE, ONE IS EMBRACED

THE TOTALITY, PRESENT IN ALL LIFE, COMMUNICATES WITH ALL ITS PARTS

TRUE LIVING CONSISTS OF RESPONDING TO ONE'S LOVING SOURCE IN KIND

QUESTION 8:

"If it is true that while on earth one can access life's totality as a Person, what would be the purpose of doing so? What difference will it make?"

ANSWER 8:

… "Add this to questions like this one: Where do these 'lessons' suddenly come from? They assume an authority that could be very well based on its writer's delusions. Well, the answer to these questions is clear and simple. On one's innermost spiritual level the truth of these lessons and their relevance for daily living will be confirmed. Turning in all honesty to one's deepest private within gives a sense of having arrived. It comes with humbleness and inner peace. It is a personal decision to pursue this or not. If one's deepest – bottom – yearning inside is addressed, the contact with the One Who is All will be experienced as complete normal and real. It is!"

EARTH'S ISOLATION MAKES MANY QUESTIONS UNANSWERABLE

PERSONAL CONTACT WITH THE ONE TOTALITY WILL GIVE TRUE INSIGHT

LIFE'S ONE SOURCE AND CENTER IS BY DEFINITION INCOMPARABLE

QUESTION 9:

"Can any religion, philosophical construction or the fact-finding of science ever explain the origin and beginning of existence itself?"

ANSWER 9:

… "No. However, these lessons tell something that religions, philosophies, science, arts or whatever addresses this question, do not stress enough or not at all. Which is that each person can be 'hugged' by the fullness of the One Who is the All and that one can experience oneself as a part of the All-Presence when working towards more closeness. When this happens, then, in that context and by that contact, each individual can know the boundlessness of life without needing to grasp it intellectually or even emotionally. One's own participation in this full reality, however minimal this may seem on earth, bypasses everything that other sources of knowledge can offer."

THE ONENESS OF ALL INCLUDES THOSE WHO DOUBT OR REJECT IT

ONE CANNOT SWIM OUTSIDE OF THE WATER; ONE HAS TO GET WET

ONLY WITHIN LIFE'S REAL NATURE CAN TRUE LIVING TAKE PLACE

QUESTION 10:

"Is being embraced by life's Totality some mystical experience? How many people have the time, desire or ability to pursue this?"

ANSWER 10:

… "To answer the last question first: All people have the time and the fundamental desire for intimacy. Period. But the present human generation is so fabricated and conditioned that the external needs dominate. The spiritual core around which true reality blossoms, is practically squeezed out. Still, in all human striving is a desire for fullness, happiness and fulfillment. There is nothing mystical or exclusive about this. Feeling embraced is a breakthrough from within when one opens up to life's universal and personal Center. It has one realize one is a desired partner. This affects every aspect of a person's life – within and without. It amounts to a return to normalcy."

ENLIGHTENMENT STARTS WITHIN, WHERE ETERNITY'S EMBERS GLOW

ONE'S INNER SPIRIT CORE IS NOT DEPENDENT ON CIRCUMSTANCES

THE MOVEMENT IN ALL EXISTING IS FROM THE WITHIN TO THE WITHOUT

QUESTION 11:

"Is there a specific name for that what one can be personally embraced by – for the Totality of all life?"

ANSWER 11:

… "This is a crucial question for understanding reality and what one's own life is all about. One can address the Ultimate Unknowable, the Totality, the One-through-Whom-everything-exists, as The All Who Is, as 'God' in general, or with names religions use for their deities. One can try to define life's secret scientifically, with concepts, formulas and hypotheses. Or one can altogether ignore the issue of a name as being completely irrelevant. Whatever one does, do realize there is no distance between the All and one's person. This is radically different than with any other relationship. There, names come in handy and are needed to differentiate. But the name for the All is 'spoken' by one's actual overall behavior."

HUMANS DO GIVE A NAME TO ALL THAT THEY THINK OR OBSERVE

YET WITHOUT A NAME AN ENTITY STILL IS WHAT IT IS IN LIFE'S TOTAL

GIVEN NAMES CAN NEVER COVER THE WHOLE OF WHAT IS NAMED

QUESTION 12:

"How should one speak and think about or verbally address this person-type of presence which is the All of life – if communication is possible at all?"

ANSWER 12:

… "The best answer here may be the realization of how people relate to themselves. Interacting with one's own body when there is pain or joy, and within one's mind with thoughts and feelings, is done directly and immediately, without the need for using names. One automatically operates as the individual person one is. Without thinking about it, people are aware of themselves. Actually, it takes quite an effort to observe oneself as from outside. Similarly, humans cannot be objective about the I AM, because each person, as all else that exists, is as much before as in and through the One Total. Only from this position a proper appellation – if any – can be developed."

EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED IN THE ONE 'HAPPENING' OF EXISTENCE

EARTH IS POSITIONED AT THE MOST OUTSIDE OF LIFE'S EXTERNAL LEVEL

EXCEPT FOR THEIR ORIGIN IN THE ALL, HUMANS ARE ON THEIR OWN

QUESTION 13:

"Is all living ultimately one and the same happening, as the Totality and its parts are so interwoven and everything is dependent on Her/His/It?"

ANSWER 13:

… "No way. Before a direct answer is given, think of this: What is considered the highest-priced intimacy, oneness and closeness between people? Is it not making love as a mutually desired uniting? Yet this act of becoming one is on the basis of being two persons, separate, unique and remaining so that way. Well, so all interact within and towards the Presence Who is All. The different parts, once emanated, develop into their own unique shape and identity. With this, they participate in the total of existence, in freedom. It has the magnitude of making love. Reflecting and representing the nature of the 'Lover of all' is the apex of independence."

ONLY IN EACH PERSON'S SPIRIT CORE CAN TRUE REALITY BE SENSED

OUTSIDE OF THE NEGATIVE REALM, LIFE IS ONE ONGOING CELEBRATION

THE ISOLATION OF EARTH WITH ITS BROKENNESS IS NOT BY ACCIDENT

QUESTION 14:

"If no particular name fits the Totality, should one forget about it or just leave it blank?"

ANSWER 14:

… "There is a name! Yet, revealing it on earth would not make sense and only create division and dissent. Why? Because humans cannot fully grasp reality. Everything on earth is not right in terms of not mirroring the beauty and grandness of the One Who Is All. One can say, however, that if people in all honesty, with love and humbleness in their hearts open up to the Presence of Life Itself in them, their attitude speaks, pronounces, radiates the name perfectly. So, with one's actual attitude and behavior, without words, one formulates a name, every time again. The more sincerely one exhibits love, the clearer one uses the name above all names, without knowing its precise sound or wording."

IT IS WISE TO QUESTION WHAT ONE BELIEVES OR TAKES FOR GRANTED

IT IS WISE TO QUESTION WHAT ONE WOULD LIKE THE TRUTH TO BE

IT IS WISE TO QUESTION WHY ONE SHOULD EVEN BOTHER TO WONDER

QUESTION 15:

"How did life, the 'Person' Who Is All, come into being?"

ANSWER 15:

… "A problem here is that humans think in terms of linear time – something must have a beginning and then proceed. This is one of the limitations, or rather aberrations, on earth. Reality is always and is not time-bound. Yet, this does not answer the question. The beautiful fact is that once one meets with the Presence, the question becomes completely obsolete. Why? Because one feels – and is actually – surrounded and filled by the answer itself, by the very Center Who expands in all directions in time, distance, density and what have you. When one deliberately seeks to embrace and become embraced by life's absolute fullness, questions are turned into discoveries. One of them being that 'time' loses its typical, limiting, earthly aspect."

FLASHES OF TIMELESSNESS CAN INDICATE NON-TIME'S REALNESS

ONE'S AWARENESS OF THE INFINITE CAN BE EXPANDED, IF SO DESIRED

SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS OPTIMIZES PEOPLE'S EARTHLY POTENTIAL

QUESTION 16:

"Does wondering about the origin of the I AM, which is beyond grasping, render invalid human logic and intelligence?"

ANSWER 16:

… "Not at all. The awareness that there is a 'beyond', human beings on earth have in common with the inhabitants of the other not-isolated realms of the universe. Those, on an ongoing basis, communicate directly and personally with the One Who is All. The difference is that they do not wonder, question, doubt or try to grasp. The closeness to the Presence they know to be its own origin, source and 'beginning' leads to ongoing celebrations, excitement, joy, praise and gratitude. How more safe, strong, happy and wise can one be than when the Reality to which one belongs consists of the desire to share its majestic nature by emanating it in myriad's of life-forms?"

PEOPLE ARE NOT BORN ON EARTH TO ESCAPE THEIR EXTERNAL FORM

ON EARTH, HUMAN LIFE'S PURPOSE IS TO MAKE PERSONAL CHOICES

FREELY CHOOSING IS UNIVERSAL. ALL CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES

QUESTION 17:

"Does the inability to grasp the beginning of existence also apply to its future?"

ANSWER 17:

… "Not necessarily. Everything that is, originates in the desire, thought and will that it comes into being. Once it is 'there' and once in freedom it accepts its existence and then develops in the context of its particular purpose, species and position, it participates in making the future happen from 'day to day'. There is no ending to living to the fullest. What will end is the unnatural phenomenon of what could be called the 'negative state', the world the human generation before the present one put together, and in which human beings are the central players. That world is temporary. For the rest, what humans call the future, is open-ended, created by everybody and everything in it. In this sense one is one's own future."

ACCEPTING LIFE'S AWESOMENESS GREATLY INSPIRES AND ENRICHES

ALL EVENTS, THOUGHTS, PRODUCTS OR NATURE CAN EVOKE MARVEL

BEING 'AT HOME' IN LIFE COMES FROM BEING SPIRITUALLY ALIGNED

QUESTION 18:

"Who speaks in these Lessons, who is their author?"

ANSWER 18:

… "The person who puts all this on paper and gets it printed is not the author of these lessons, even if he formulates, organizes and writes down the words. Whoever reads this and is truly honest can communicate with the One Who speaks these words. One can say that Life itself, the Totality of it, is a personal presence. This is so for everything. All that exists is by definition - directly or indirectly - the result of an emanation or creation of the All Who Was, Is and Will Be. This applies to each entity's situation. All is relative to the whole, its origin. For humans, the contact is as with a person Who desires to pour out love and see it appreciated and returned. It is the One Who Is Life Itself speaking in these lessons. On each individual person's level."

EVERY PIECE OF REALITY IS BUILT FROM AND AROUND ITS SPIRIT

THE FLAME OF LIFE'S TOTAL BURNS ON THE MOST INNER SPIRIT LEVEL

ON ONE'S INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL LEVELS DISTORTIONS ARE ALL OVER

QUESTION 19:

"Is it up to each individual to verify if the One Who is All is a personal Presence and to see whether the pretensions of these lessons are for real?"

ANSWER 19:

… "Absolutely correct. It does not mean all people will react the same way when absorbing the message of the lessons. Not just because resistance caused by outside pressures or inner fears is so monumental but because each person's reason for being born is different, as is their particular mission. As memories of the realm humans originate in are erased before birth, all persons must choose what to believe and how to act in the midst of the distorted reality they face. How people approach true life, with what attitude, shows if they have learned to listen to the language of their innermost spirit, which is the one spoken and understood in all the universes."

ALL EXISTENCE IS THREE-LAYERED: INNERMOST, INTERNAL, EXTERNAL

EVERYTHING MIRRORS THE NATURE OF THE ONE WHO IS THE ALL OF ALL

ALL THAT IS HAS ITS EXTERNAL, INTERNAL AND SPIRITUAL ASPECTS

QUESTION 20:

"How important are these lessons? What if they are flatly rejected or simply ignored, for whatever reason?"

ANSWER 20:

… "Earthly life is occurring, like that in the other realms of being, in order to respond to the presence of the All Who Is life's Totality. If this is refused, as it happens in the negative state, out of whatever motivation or lack of information, life's purpose is still achieved 00000000000000000000000000000000because choices are made. It then shows what rejecting or ignoring real reality's truth leads to. This is negative, as it creates the illusion of normalcy. Yet it is positive in the sense that it once and for all illustrates what true life is not. These lessons are offered to all people. None of them are forced on anyone. If nobody reads them, they still capture the truth of all existence in human words. As such, they represent the One Who is the One Holy."

COUNTLESS FACTORS INFLUENCE HUMAN DECISION MAKING

ALL PEOPLE CHOOSE WITH WHAT ATTITUDE THEY WANT TO OPERATE

ONLY ON THE SPIRITUAL LEVEL CAN ONE EXPERIENCE FULL REALITY

QUESTION 21:

"What to expect from the rest of these lessons? Will they address more practical issues?"

ANSWER 21:

… "This first chapter dealt with the stage on which living occurs and points therefore at the totality, the sum, the One Person before Whom and in Whom all takes place. This is life's most exciting fact. It is incomparable, as nothing else is so absolute. It can be taken therefore as the only aspect in all existence that is truly 'holy'. Life's Total as talked about here has as its first aspect, face, being, appearance, the 'One Holy'. The next two segments deal with the essence and with the substance of all that exists. Then follow two chapters about the internal aspects of life, its structure and its process. While the last two of the seven parts focus on life's external manifestations and its driving force. Together they cover life, all of it, as it is."

NOTHING OF EARTH IS PERFECT, BUT THIS IS A TEMPORAL SITUATION

LIVING ON EARTH CAN BE TAKEN AS BEING ON A PERSONAL MISSION

THE ONE WHO IS THE 'ONE HOLY' INVITES THOSE 'LOST' TO REJOIN REALITY
