The DHS Winter Percussion group is once again New England Champions. The group took the Class AA Concert Percussion title at the New England Scholastic Band Association finals at Dartmouth HS on April 6. Their show ‘A Midwinter’s Day Dream’ earned them a score of 93.1 topping 4 other groups. Congratulations to Head Coach Mark Sachetta and the entire group for capturing their second title in three years.
The Winter Guard also finished a strong season in the Scholastic Regional A class at NESBA finals. Their score of 90.18 put them in 3rd place out of eleven groups. Congratulations to all the members and the new coaching staff for the impressive growth and improvement achieved throughout the 2019 season.
