If using fresh tomatoes, use big ninja
1 28oz can whole plum tomatoes, drained (if using fresh, remove most of the seeds, but don't go crazy)
1/2 red onion, quartered
1 jalapeno, chopped rough (seeds and membrane removed)
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tsp cumin
salt to taste (start with a teaspoon or 2)
1 handful fresh cilantro
Pulse it in the food processor until everything is about the same size.
Put it in the fridge for an hour or two for the flavors to marry.
