Biscuits and Gravy Bake

3 decent sized servings; 350 calories

2 frozen biscuits defrosted

3 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp salt

2 sausage patties

1/4 onion, diced

1/2 cup shredded cheese

Gravy:

2 Tbsp. butter

2 Tbsp. flour

salt & pepper to taste

1 cups milk

Cut each biscuit into pieces. Set aside.

In a bowl, mix the eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper. Set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Saute sausage and onions. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper, and slowly add the 2 cups of milk.

Simmer, stirring, until it’s thickened.

In a greased 8x4 glass baking dish, layer the biscuits, egg mixture, cheese and gravy.

Bake at 350°F/180°C for 35-45 min, until the eggs on the bottom are cooked.
