4 servings; MFP; Notes: Recipe made about 4 servings and fit well on Breville oven pan. Probably could fit 2x recipe if needed.
1x 20 can of jackfruit
6 oz Impossible Meat
1/4 cup diced onion
1 tsp dark brown sugar/splenda
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp liquid smoke
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 375.
Drain and rinse Jack Fruit.
Shred jackfruit with your hands or potato masher. Chop up hard bits.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
DO NOT coat with BBQ before baking. On a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, shape into a slab of ribs.
Score "ribs" about half way through.
Bake for ~20 mins, remove from oven and spread BBQ sauce over the ribs and place back into the oven for 10-20 minutes more.
Slice into ribs and serve.
