Former Portland Trail Blazer Damian Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks on September 27. Damian Lillard has been traded because he couldn’t win a championship with the Portland Trail Blazers His tweet following the trade annoyed many fans.
Freshman Deandrey Alexandre is very hurt and doesn’t understand why he got traded.
“I was very upset about the trade because it hurt me very emotionally, very deeply just because of the fact that Damian Lillard is a very loyal player to his team. The fact that he went to the Milwaukee Bucks which they already have Giannis on their team so I feel like it’s completely useless for him to be on that team and they aren't going to win a championship” said Alexandre.
Freshman Aiden Gonzalez labeled Damian Lillard as disrespectful and doesn’t really care about his situation because Gonzalez doesn’t think he is a good basketball player
“Good for him that he got traded, I don't really like him. The tweet he tweeted after he got traded was really disrespectful and this just makes me dislike him even more than I already do. I didn’t like him before because I simply don’t like him; he’s arrogant," said Gonzalez.
Freshman Muna Mpundu doesn’t believe the Milwaukee Bucks will be good and he respects Damian Lillard even after he tweeted,” I wanted to go to Miami” after getting traded
“The Celtics could beat them if they step up because it’s going to be a little battle. I don’t think it’s necessarily going to destroy the team's chemistry; I believe there's nothing wrong with saying what you want,” said Mupundu.
