Lewis': A Norwood institution

As summer is quickly approaching, local “townies” are looking to find somewhere to hang out and find something delicious to eat. The atmosphere at Lewis’ will make you feel right at home.

Whether you want to go into the front bar or the more family-friendly restaurant, both have great service and great food. Now if you are visiting or you are new to Norwood you will see a lot of people that know each other. They won’t give you any bad looks though-everyone is very friendly and looking to meet someone new.

One of the most popular starters on the menu is the “Big @ss pretzel”. The pretzel was huge, soft, and delicious. The waitress recommended I put mustard on the pretzel and that just topped it all off. It also came with a cheese sauce that was out of this world. The price of the pretzel was $11 but the soft salted pretzel is pretty big to eat by yourself so I recommend sharing it with a friend. The serving staff was very nice and made me feel very welcome.

The waitress was very nice and very welcoming and made me feel welcome.

I ordered the bone-in honey barbecue wings and they were very good. The wings were not as crispy as I wanted them but they were still very delicious. The wings came out to be around $14 and had about 8 wings with a nice combo of flats and drums with a side of fries. I think the fries could have been saltier but they had salt on the table which made it okay for me to put as much as I want on. The waitress was on top of everything and she was refilling my drink and being super polite.

I had to wait a while for the waitress to get the check but it was only around 10 minutes.

Overall this was a great experience and I give Lewis' a solid 7.5/10.  This is a great place to go in the center of town just to get a quick bite to eat and see a lot of familiar faces that you have seen around town.

The prices are very reasonable for a nice meal to enjoy. I will definitely be going back to Lewis’ Bar and Grill in Norwood center.
