The coronavirus has us all quarantined in our houses which leads to people being bored out of their mind. Norwood High School students have a lot to say about what they think about the whole outbreak and share what they have been doing to keep themselves busy.

Two freshmen and a senior have different opinions from each other. A freshman at NHS, Tyler Lovell says, “I do my school work from 9-2 and then street hockey after. When I get bored I will just hop on xbox.”

Lovell also spends time working on school work. He said, “I like it. It is not too hard and doesn't take too long. It takes stress off.”

Senior Kaylen Curran has a lot to say about the corona virus and her experiencing it during her last year of high school.

“I think that it’s very serious and people need to be taking it more seriously, otherwise it’s just going to continue. But I’m also disappointed that my senior year is basically getting ruined because of it.”

Although Curran understands the value of school work, she says it's hard to find the motivation to do her assignments.

“I understand that it’s important for us to continue our schooling during this time, but because the assignments are not graded it's hard to find the motivation to do them.”

Freshman Marissa DiPierro says it's not much different keeping herself busy during the coronavirus shutdown. She says,  “Well, I try to do my school work just to get it done, but then I’ll do what I usually do-- like go on my phone and talk to people.” She also said that she really enjoys spending time with her siblings.

So how are you coping with the coronavirus shutdown?
