Today, May 1, 2023 our Norwood Mustang Girls Lacrosse team will take on the Norton Lancers, 6:15 pm at Norton High School. The game is expected to be fun and competitive with last year's games being very tight.

The Mustangs will end up playing the Lancers again one week from today, on Monday, May 8th.

Sophomore player Evann Oneil shares her predictions for today's game. “I’m feeling good about Norton. This year our team has been successful. Away games dont change how we play. We need to bring energy and play as a team because that’s when we do our best and that's how we’ll win.”

Norton is a good lacrosse team with 4 wins and 5 losses so far this season. Lots of focus and hard work is required to beat them. The Mustangs have done it before and believe they will do it again.

Sophomore Bridget Sople says, “I think the team will perform well because we are coming off of a game where we played very well”.

The sport of lacrosse demands teamwork and determination just like every other sport. This season the Mustangs record reads 4 wins and 4 losses.

“I think the team works best when we are communicating on the field. We play best together when we are playing against better teams, because we play to their level.” says Sople.

Come cheer the team on tonight as they try to advance their way into a winning record.
