After 30 years of being open, family-owned nail salon, Precious Nails and Spa has been known as one of the best nail salons around. Located right next to Acapulcos on Route 1, this nail salon is quite popular amongst students at Norwood High School. 

Everyone seems to have had amazing experiences with the technicians, high-quality treatment, and final manicures. 

The prices range depending on what you want and what type of manicure or pedicure you would like. The reasonable prices range anywhere from $25+ to $65+ and great results definitely make many want to come back for more.

“I always get acrylics and it's typically around $70 for me because I usually get designs on my nails. I go there all the time so they kinda know me now so that's fun,” said senior Skylar Huha.

Fun nail designs have been trending for years now and according to junior Angel El Moucary, the prices are definitely worth it to get a design.

“The price is somewhat on the higher side. It's around $45 for a full set of acrylics with designs. The designs are definitely worth the money. They always come out exactly how I want. The service there is great so I would say it is worth the money and I would recommend it for more people,” she said.

When you first walk into the salon what immediately catches the eye is the cleanliness and vibrant colors all around the room. 

“The first thing I notice when I walk in every time is honestly how bright and clean the place is. I really enjoy that everyone there is super welcoming,” said Moucary.

Senior Paige McBrien also agrees that as soon as you step inside you are immediately welcomed. 

“It's really friendly and really nice inside. All the workers are super amazing and when you open the door it's automatically appealing to the eye because of the nice furniture and chairs.”

Precious Nails and Spa also claims to offer thousands of nail polish colors to choose from.

“It's so satisfying to look at the wall of nail polishes. There's a ton of colors; there are walls of nail polish that immediately get your attention,” said Huha. 

Another very popular quality is that the salon offers a friendly environment and allows for new friendships to be made. 

“My favorite thing when going is that I can talk to the girl who always does my nails. She is so sweet and I go to her every time. I've been going there for a little less than a year and every time she is so nice,” said Moucary. 

Senior Skylar Huha has also been going to the same nail tech for quite a while and has had good experiences. 

“I always go to the same person to get my nails done and I love her. She is so nice and knows what I want. Every single time she knows how to do my nails perfectly. I really love her. I really enjoy that everyone there is super welcoming.”

Once the nails are done the results are not disappointing.

“They always do a great job and I’ve never once had a bad experience,” said McBrien.
