What an amazing woman we lost. She was full of joy, charisma, and courage. She was loved by many, adored by others. She had so many fans, who now celebrate her daily and many friends and colleagues who remember and salute her every day.

Known worldwide for her role as Rose Nylund on the hit sitcom, "The Golden Girls," White made a huge career for herself as an actress, comedian, and one of the world’s first female producers. She is well known as a “pioneer of early television”, according to many fans and colleagues, as well as one of the first women of television.

Her sudden passing on New Year’s Eve was a shock to the world and many people who had spoken to her just a few days back. In fact, she had an interview just a week before her death. Many feel she was taken too soon, before her 100th birthday, before the New Year even started, even before new things could have happened for her.

The animal-loving woman had a heavy passion for charity and donated to animal shelters all around the world. She loved receiving fan mail and was one of the few celebrities to try and personally respond to all the letters she received. Many friends would describe her as a kind and caring woman.

On a separate note, Betty White had very interesting tastes.

Her favorite food, as she has shown in many of her press photos, was a plain hotdog, but she also enjoyed potato chips and Red Vines candy. Speaking of which, all were served to donors at animal shelters who participated in the ‘Betty White Challenge’.

January 17, 2022, would have been her 100th birthday. Many people across the globe celebrated it, watching movies, TV shows, interviews, and many more productions White had made her mark on.

This woman was and will always be a legend. She brought smiles to so many faces and lit up every room she stepped into. There was never a moment where she couldn’t find something happy from a dull situation; always too optimistic to be around pessimistic people or anything that could bring her down, as she expressed in her 2018 documentary, "Betty White: The First Lady of Television."

She was married to host, Allen Ludden of a gameshow called Password, which was one of her favorite games to play back then. She expressed that in an interview, she was touched by him the moment she laid eyes on him. When he passed, she was devastated, but still pushed through and continued to see all the silver linings that awaited her.

Betty White will forever be remembered for all the laughs she caused, all the hearts she stole, and all her time on this Earth to make it a better place.
