If you listen to or know anything about Kanye West’s discography, it’s not hard to agree that he is one of the most talented and successful artists out there. 

Kanye’s first album to put him into mainstream music for good was his debut album “The College Dropout” which was released in 2004, selling almost a million copies within the first week. Kanye is an extremely influential rapper, inspiring other very popular artists like Drake, Travis Scott, and Chance the Rapper. 

“Pitchfork,” a very popular American music publication with daily music reviews for almost all genres, has given Kanye very high ratings on most of his albums. “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” receiving a 10/10. His other albums, receiving decently high scores. If you know anything about real music reviewing/rating, that is pretty impressive. 

I agree with all of the reviews. Kanye’s albums are top-tier production no matter what style of music you’re into. Almost all of his songs are amazing and you should listen to at least a few albums if you haven’t already. He has an overall 8.4/10 on the pitchfork website, and maintaining that score with a total of eleven albums is extremely impressive. 

When it comes to music rating on almost any public platform, it is nowhere near sugarcoated. The fact that all of West’s albums have very good ratings, really shows how his work compares to other artists. 

Kanye West has amazing critical success. Although his music mainly fits into one category, his music is incredible, which gives him a very big influential aspect. Kanye has great critical ratings and many awards, like 21 Grammys. Yes, 21. He made “Rolling Stone’s” latest “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list with six albums, and his 10/10 album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” taking the seventeenth place. 

West’s work is beautifully created in his own unique way and entertaining rap style. He checks off almost every box for what it takes to be an amazing artist. He’s one of the most creative rappers to put out music. West isn’t confined by a certain subgenre of music, he just makes music. He has been relevant in the music industry for over ten years and continues to take hip hop and music further into the future.
