New Dairy-Alternative Ice Cream Offered at Daddy’s Dairy

This past summer, Daddy’s Dairy announced their brand new location opening up here in Norwood, Massachusetts. This struck much excitement throughout the town of Norwood as well as surrounding towns. One interesting thing about Daddy's Dairy is that it offers a wide variety of flavors and ice cream types; including non-dairy, vegan options. 

Daddy’s Dairy has a wide variety of 200 + flavors of both hard serve and soft serve. However, with many people limited to certain diets and allergies, their four coconut based vegan flavors are a great option. 

Each vegan option is available only in soft serve and in four basic flavors. This is a great opportunity for vegans and people with allergies because many other ice cream companies like Haagen-Daaz and Ben and Jerry's offer only flavors that are unique with special add-ins like chocolate chunks or fruit chunks. The basic flavors that Daddy's Dairy offers such as Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and Oreo give the people eating these flavors a special reminder of the classic flavors they miss and love.

Chocolate

I found that the chocolate vegan flavor was very rich and creamy and tasted just like regular ice cream. The smooth texture of the soft serve was the highlight of the ice cream. The flavor of chocolate was very bold and reminded me of eating soft serve as a child.

Vanilla

The vanilla flavor had similar traits to the chocolate. It had the same characteristics of non-vegan flavors with the same richness and creaminess. The only downside of this flavor is that the coconut had more flavor than the actual vanilla itself. Despite this detail, the flavor Vanilla for being vegan free, was very pleasing.

Strawberry

I am not a fan of strawberry ice cream; however, Daddy's Dairy vegan strawberry ice cream is creamy, sweet, and combined with the coconut base, tastes like a tropical summer treat anybody of any diet could enjoy.

Oreo

This classic flavor was my favorite out of all four flavors. It was thick, creamy, and the flavor was incredible. Although the coconut base may drive people away it truly made the experience of the flavor ten times better.

If you have a special diet that excludes dairy and animal products, Daddy's Dairy is the place for you to visit and try one of their fantastic vegan flavors.
