Hopefully, you are not busy because this should be a game for the ages.

NFL sophomore, Heisman-winning fan favorite quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals face off against a hungry Aaron Donald and a determined Matthew Stafford in the Super Bowl this Sunday at 6:30 PM.

The Bengals are looking to win their first Super Bowl ever, meanwhile, the Rams are back for the second time in the last decade.

Both of these teams have been sparked by their new quarterbacks this year. Matthew Stafford is looking to join a rare list with only Tom Brady on it of joining a new team and winning the Super Bowl that year.

However, Joe Burrow has done nothing besides win when it comes to the playoffs in his career this far and he has his fans at NHS.

“I think Burrow's a proven winner,” History teacher Mr. Loja said.

The game will depend on more than that though as there are weaknesses and strengths on both sides.

Most specifically the Bengals offensive line is not very good meanwhile the Rams' defensive line is stacked with Aaron Donald, Leonard Floyd, and Von Miller.  If the Bengals don't have the right game plan for Aaron Donald and the Rams defensive line, it may be a very long night for Joe Burrow.

It is also very likely that the team that finishes with the better running attack wins the game as both of the passing game plans are similar.

Mr. Sarianides, senior Dean and host of the podcast, New England Football Journal, voiced his opinion on the game.

“The Bengals are a team that overachieves in the playoffs and definitely is carrying momentum with them right now” he said.

He also claimed how the Bengals need to run the ball successfully with Mixon early. Aaron Donald and Von Miller will look to stop that.

Another point leading in the Rams' favor is that the game is being played at SoFi stadium, the Rams stadium. Now, home-field advantage is usually very helpful, however, the Rams are new to LA and their fan base is very weak so this is not much of an advantage.

The Rams have a lot going their way however the storyline often also affects the game. The Bengals are becoming one of America's most beloved teams and it simply just doesn't feel like the right time for Joe Burrow to lose his last playoff game.

The Rams are coming off of beating Tom Brady, the best player to ever play, so at the end of the day, it makes sense how the Rams are favored.

A couple of players such as Aaron Donald, Cam Akers, Matthew Stafford, and especially Odell Beckham are playing with all of their hearts plus more for this game. Cam Akers suffered a season-ending Achilles tear and was somehow able to make it back to the field for playoffs. Just two months ago Odell was viewed as a bad teammate after the Browns released him. Matthew Stafford played for the Detroit Lions the last decade and didn't do much besides losing so it would be drastic for him to come to the Rams and then immediately win a Super Bowl.

Both of these teams won off of game-winning drives last week. If it comes down to the wire, look for Matthew Stafford to target Cooper Kupp, and expect Evan Mcpherson to make any field goal he is put up to try.

Super Bowl viewers are in for a great game. Perhaps you should call out of work on Monday.
