High school has been a much different experience for the class of 2022. Much of the high school experience has been remote for seniors and Senior Bella Lirette can agree.

¨It's been crazy because of the past two years being remote and hybrid. It went by so fast but even with Covid, I still had a good experience,¨

 she said.

Happy to be back in school full-time, Bella shares that her favorite part of being back is the social aspects of things.

¨After staying home for a few months during quarantine, I appreciate just going to school for the social aspect so much more. I love going to games and the atmosphere that NHS fan sections have,¨ She shared.

Since the end of the school year is quickly approaching, Bella also shared what she plans to do once it's done.

¨I'll be spending the summer with my friends, in Aruba, for our senior trip, and preparing to leave for school in August.¨

Once the summer is over she has plans to attend college.

¨I am definitely going to college next year, but I haven’t committed anywhere yet. I am currently in between Clemson, the University of Pittsburgh, and maybe Virginia Tech. These are very different schools so once I decide what I want; city or suburb campus, then I’ll decide where I want to go," she said.

Bella has big plans for her career in the future and after college.

¨After graduation from a four-year college, I plan to do one more year to get my master's in dietetics and human nutrition. I want to be a registered dietitian. There are so many different types of dietitians- clinical, sports, etc., but I’ll figure out the specifics over time.¨

With graduation quickly approaching, Bella is excited to continue on past NHS.
