The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a phenomenal movie to sit back and watch with your family and have a little laugh. The first Secret Life of Pets came out in 2016 and it is an adventurous ride. There is also going to be a Secret Life of Pets 3 coming out in 2022. The first Secret Life of Pets made a total of $875.5 million in the box office. 

Pets 2 follows a few crazy journeys on the way. The main character is a dog named Max who has major anxiety and is a little worrier. There is also Duke who lives with Max. He is a careless and free-spirited dog. The character of Snowball has changed throughout the movies. In the first movie he was evil and had a short temper and now he is a tough little guy. 

The movie is uplifting and full of craziness. Throughout the movie the pets face many challenges, but they always find a way to overcome them. The movie contains the same comedy and adventure as the first movie had. 

Max, the dog, has a lot of worry for his owner's baby, Liam. He is overprotective of him and every time he gets nervous he starts to scratch himself, which is not good. The story then leads to a relative's farm, where Max finds his true inner self and faces his fears. On the other side of the story, the bunny, Snowball believes he is a real superhero and can do anything. 

This movie reveals a creative perspective about what cats and dogs and other pets do all day and how they communicate. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Chloe teaches Gidget how to be a cat and puts cat ears and a sock on her tail to make her look like a cat. Gidget loses Max’s favorite ball and it ends up in an old lady’s apartment with at least one hundred mean and angry cats. This is one of my favorite scenes because Chloe usually doesn't want to do anything, but she stepped up to help Gidget get the ball back. Also, Gidget conquers her fears and accomplishes her goal. 

Another scene that follows this same theme is when Max and Duke go with their family to visit a family member on a farm and they meet a fearless dog named Rooster. Max is trying to act like Rooster and he has an altercation with a pig. What happens next shows how if you can be brave you can accomplish any goal. 

Overall, this movie is similar to the first one in a way because both movies portray a series of adventures. However this movie definitely has more going on and it definitely portrays many important lessons.

'The Secret Life of Pets 2' is a great comedy movie the whole family will enjoy.
