Senior year is the most important year of high school. Along with the stress of applying to college, you don't want to miss out on school-run events.

Senior year is known for being the most memorable year of high school getting you ready for college and experiencing a fun year with activities like Senior Sunrise and Senior Sunset, Style on the Hill, prom, senior prank, Senior Assassin, and more things that you don't want to miss out on.

Seniors Julia Mace and Daniella Habib said that the most important thing to do during senior year is to get involved.

“Get involved in the school community and attend the senior activities like Senior Sunrise and Style on the Hill, especially attending prom,” says Mace.

Senior activities bring the grade together and you want to be there to remember what senior year was like so you can look back and know you participated.

“Be nice to everyone and don't get involved in drama. Make the last few months count,” said Habib.

It's easy to get carried away in the last few months of school but it's also important to stay on everyone's good side. You're all facing the same challenges, going through the same amount of stress, and experiencing the same thing. No one is better than the other person.

¨It's easy to get distracted by hanging out with friends or going to work but grades are super important your senior year. You don't want colleges to look at 56 missing absences and seven F’s,” said Habib.

The most important thing is getting through the school year so that you can graduate. Senior year is supposed to be fun, but being behind on schoolwork is not fun.

Senior Lyla Fagan said, “I spend time with people that make me happy and do fun things when I have free time and not stress too much and get myself excited to go to college.”

Senior year flies by, and you want to make sure you are doing things you enjoy and spending the last few months with people who make you happy.

“I make the most out of my senior year by spending time with my friends and doing things that I enjoy,” said Senior Shania Wilson.
