On May 6th, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker issued an order for everyone to wear a face mask or anything that covers their mouth and nose in public places where social distancing is not possible.

Face masks are a critical part to help decrease the spread of the Coronavirus. The Coronavirus, or “COVID-19” is a flu- like illness that can be very dangerous to elderly people and people with health problems. The best possible way to prevent COVID-19 from spreading is wearing a face mask when going out.

There are many different styles and ways to wear a mask. The most common one is either the plain blue surgical mask or a  homemade fabric mask with a colorful or fun design on it.

Some other options include bandanas, sweatshirts, dust masks, scarves, and health workers may be able to use N95 respirators.

Everyone has their own style when it comes to face masks. Some people might want to blend in with the rest and others want to make a fashion statement and be different than everyone else.
