SZA’s new album “SOS” was released on December 9, 2022. This album includes 23 songs that passionately talk about love, heartbreak, and insecurities.  Let's be honest. Those are all things we have faced before and that have made us feel alone.

She uses her past experiences in life to help out her fans who are listening to her songs. Many find a great sense of comfort in listening to them because of how relatable they are.

“SOS ” was the first project  SZA put out since her release of the album “CTRL” in 2017.  With little to no promotion, “SOS” broke so many records and had an impact on many people’s lives.

It broke records such as the largest streaming week for an R&B album in the US and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200.

Sophomore Jordan Kirkland says, “ I felt like it was a really relatable album and SZA really took her time making this project so that other people could enjoy it and relate to it. My favorite song on the album is “Kill Bill” I just feel like the song is really emotional and weirdly relatable."

Songs such as ”Love Language”, “Snooze”, and “Open Arms” all talk about SZA's experiences with being and falling in love and that heartwarming feeling. While on the other side, songs such as “Special”, “Used”, and “Nobody Gets Me” talks about her experiences with relationships that didn't go right.

This was by far one of SZA’s most heart-wrenching albums and one of her biggest hits.
