ACCESSORIES

New accessories are making a comeback from the 90’s. Claw clips and rings are super popular right now. Many  people love claw clips because it is much easier on your hair than elastic bands.

According to theguardian.com “claw clips were popular in the early 2000s, they are part of the wider Y2K trend – which also saw scrunchies make a comeback.”

Rings have also been a popular accessory that many students at Norwood High have been wearing. Some people have recently noticed that stacking rings has become a trend. These accessories are a casual, low maintenance way to spice up an outfit.

FLANNEL

Flannels have been one of the most common worn articles of clothing this year during the winter season. It is most popular to wear casually while thrown over a basic t-shirt.

Numerous people enjoy wearing their flannels oversized, unbuttoned, and over a crewneck/ sweatshirt during the colder months.

Ultimately it is the warmth, durability, and high dose of style that makes the flannel so beloved.

This piece of clothing for both men and women is perfect for all seasons due to the fact that you can customize them for your own liking.

NIKE SHOES

One of the most popular brands of shoes at NHS as well as worldwide is Nike. Nike shoes are very popular among students along with Nike socks over leggings.

Retro air forces and blazers have been a well liked trend from around 2021-2022. Many people favor the comfort of these shoes as well as like the idea of fitting in with the latest streetwear.

Blazers were mostly favored in the 90’s as a “sporty” type of shoe, as of a few fashion seasons they have recently been a casual comfort shoe. Now they are making a comeback and being enjoyed by everyone.

FLARED PANTS AND BELL BOTTOMS

Flared pants and bell bottom jeans have been around for a while. Recently, they have been making a return from the 60's  and 90’s. A lot of students around school love wearing flared pants because they are super comfortable as well as stylish. The last few seasons bell bottom jeans have been making a reappearance in young teenagers and adults.

According to Metro News, “Since the various lockdowns, people working remotely have adapted their ways of dressing and embraced more smart casual options.”

The flare out below the knee is what many are gravitating towards during the latest fall/winter season.
