“I hate it because it's kind of made up, and it's too expensive.”

Mr. Curran, Teacher

“I like Valentine's Day because it is festive and fun.”

Julia Mace, Freshman

“I think Valentine's day is a bit cliché and kind of destroys the intimacy of celebrating love. It’s an amazing thing to celebrate, but when it’s universal with everyone else, I think it can cause a lot of comparisons or toxicity. I am all for valentine's fun but I don't like to call it a love holiday.”

Colin Sangiacomo, Freshman

“It's honestly just a day for couples to go all out on one day instead of every day.”

Aiden Bernardo, Sophomore

“I think Valentine's Day is very commercial but it’s a nice time to let people know that you’re there for them. I usually like spending it with my friends”

Ms. Sandstrum, Teacher

“I like Valentines because it's fun and an excuse to hang out with friends”

Jessica Saber, Freshman

“I like the idea of valentine's day because you are able to show love and appreciation for others.”

Grace Chau, Freshman

"Valentines Day has always been a pretty insignificant holiday to me because you usually aren’t celebrating it unless you're in a relationship."

Charlotte Jandrue (left), Sophomore

“I think Valentine's Day is fun for people to have something to celebrate. It’s a holiday that I genuinely think is affected by who you are with at the time. I do like the chocolate part though”

Annie Burgess (right), Sophomore
