先生:現地の警察官

生徒:海外旅行客。現金・クレジットカードの入ったカバンを盗まれてしまう。パスポートは今も持っている


生徒の条件:以下の状況を説明し、旅行保険の請求に必要な盗難証明書(a certificate of theft)を発行してもらう。

1.かばんの外見

2.かばんの中身(貴重品の詳細も含め)

3.紛失した時の詳細な状況

4.盗難証明書発行の依頼

  3.紛失した時の状況(詳細は含まない)
  4.盗難証明書発行の依頼

      • 条件2:条件1について、詳細に説明している。

S: Yes, um I got my money, credit cards stolen. Um, it was in a bag. It was brown bag. It was a little about this big. And I had it right here. I was it was something like this. And when I was trying to get on the subway, there was this lady kinda pushing me. So I think it was her to get bag when … when I realized, the bag was gone. And it took me a while to realize that, so when I realized that my bag was gone, she was already gone, too. So I came here. It was a, as I said, brown big bag. Inside the bag, there was a wallet which including my credit card and money. Also, there were other important cards that I use in Japan. And also, there were books and clothes in there. And so, I would really love to have the certificate of theft in order to get my travel insurance. So could you give me that, certificate of theft?(知識・技能)(思考・判断・表現 条件1 & 2)

T: OK. Um, … well, you said you had a wallet

S: Uh-huh.

T: and there must be cash inside.

S: Yes, yes.

T: How much?

S: About あー five hundred dollars.

T: Five hundred dollars.

T: I see. Um, usually we can’t find um, I don’t think we can um get the

S: Yeah.

T: money back.

S: あー yes. I understand.

T: あー there is a possibility that your bag will be found.
