ペアでのディスカッションの設定：

Topicは事前に提示。授業で扱った内容からTopicsを作成。裏返した3つのトピックカードから、生徒が選択

Discussion topic: GiveDirectly is a charity that gives money directly to poor people in Africa. Would you give or not give money to GiveDirectly considering its positive and negative aspects? Why/why not? (2 minutes)

Student A: I would give money to GiveDirectly.

Student B: I would not give money to GiveDirectly.

Decide your group’s conclusion at the end.

あなたは、あなたのペアと一緒に旅行 (trip) に行く約束をしました。今から、お互いに質問しながら、旅行に持っていく物を4つ決めてください。(2 minutes)

旅行の場所と時：Zoo in Hokkaido in January

目的：Seeing cute animals

気候：Very cold at daytime and night.

評価規準

採点の基準：　「思考・判断・表現」は以下の二つの条件に基づき、採点を行う。

• 条件１：カードの設定に沿って、自分の意見とその理由を分かりやすく説明している。

• 条件２：相手の発言に反応し、意見を取り入れながら話している。

ペアでのディスカッションの採点結果：

条件１〇・その他（aの要件）〇：自分の意見とその理由を分かりやすく説明している。少し詳細がある。

例：I agree with their idea about give directly to poor people.（ここまで意見）When we give money directly to the poor people, poor people can decide how to use the money, and what is how to use the money, so … they can get the things they mostly they mostly need … they need mostly.（ここまで理由）So, I agree with the idea. How about you?（相手に質問）car is more comfortable.

条件２〇・その他〇：相手の発言に反応し、意見を取り入れながら、話を発展させて話している。

例：Mm. The reason I … agree with the idea is that … mm poor people can get the things they need. So, if we if the … if the organize … organization can buy the things they need, I don’t have to … I don’t think that we should direc we should money directly we should money be we should give money directly. So, I … I think … give not directly is also good.（相手の意見を聞き、その意見と自分の意見の妥協点を提案している）

例2：Mm. I … I want to … bring much money, so I want to buy something into and bring back and give my friend. So, I want to bring much money.（質問に答える形での意見と理由）

例3：Don’t you get scopes?（質問で相手に反応。Scopeは自分が述べた意見）

例1：I agree with you,（相手に反応）and in addition, I want to carry the camera. （意見）So, when when when we see the cute animal, I want to take picture with them.（理由）So ... あー it left one ... one thing we have to … we have to carry. So, what do you have another idea?（質問）

例2：I agree with you.（相手に反応）あ Hokkaido has a lot of delicious foods, so after … after visiting the zoo, あー let's go to the another place and … buy souvenirs for our children.（相手の発言に基づき話を広げている）… Mm. So, in conclusion, we have to preview carry down jacket, muffler, trip(?) and enough money. Do you agree with that?（まとめと確認）
