Resumo
Este artigo tem por objectivo fundamental analisar a necessidade e, também, a dificuldade em aplicar o pensamento e metodologia de Piaget à educação. Para tal, começaremos por fazer um survol al pensamento de Piaget e colaboradores, identificando os principais aspectos teóricos e metodológicos, e repercussões pedagógicas, de cada uma das fases da sua teoria. De seguida, apresentaremos algumas razões que sustentam a nossa convicção de a que a teoria piagetiana contém elementos potencialmente fecundos para a pedagogia. Por fim, analisaremos algumas dificuldades na aplicação da teoria piagetiana à educação.
Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyze the necessity, and also the difficulty of the application of the Piaget´s theory and method in the field of education. We began with a survol of Piaget´s and co-workers thought, in which the more important theoretical and methodological aspects and pedagogical repercussions will be analysed. Later, we will present some reasons that ground our conviction that Piagetian theory has elements potentially fecund to the pedagogy. Finally, we will analyze some difficulties regarding the application of Piagetian theory to education.
