Abstract
Just as the rest of humankind, as all of you know so well, I have often enough found it difficult to summarize the meaning of particular experiences. All of the deepest meaning to be derived from those experiences I have enjoyed with José, however, can be adequately encapsulated in a single sentence: i tis na honor to count him as my friend. Please join me in wishing José success and happiness in this next phase of his career: may it be at least as brilliant as all the previous ones!
