Resumo
O presente trabalho constitui a apresentação em síntese de The Rorschach: A Comprehensive System de John E. Exner, Jr., publicado em 2.ª edição, no início de 1986. Para além disso, pretende destacar o rigor científico que presidiu a sua construção, por forma a investir o teste de Rorschach das características requeridas pela teoria da melida, isto é, a precisão e a validade, sem perda das qualidades holística e idiográfica que fazem dele um instrumento impar na avaliação e no diagnóstico clínico. Nas considerações finais, o autor procede a uma análise dos principais componentes dos cinco Sistemas americanos mais importantes presentes no SIR.
Abstract
The author presents an introduction to John E. Exner, Jr`s: The Rorschach: A Comprehensive System, 2nd edition, 1986. Pointing out the scientific accuracy presiding to its construction, the author underlines the reliability and validity required by the measurement`s theory, imprinted by the System to the Rorschach`s test, without break of idiographic and holistic qualities, in this unique assessment tool of clinical diagnosis. In this final considerations the author undergoes the revision of the five more important american Systems present in the Comprehensive System.
