Resumo
Este artigo aborda a psicopatologia da esquizofrenia através do teste de Szondi, em particular, o papel dos mecanismos de «projecção» e de «inflação» neste contexto. Um estudo comparativo de dois grupos emparelhados de sujeitos normais (N=27) e esquizofrénicos (N=25), utilizando a técnica de «cluster analysis», permite corroborar a teoria de J. Schotte sobre a afinidade estrutural entre a esquizofrenia e a posição «inflativa» do eu. São definidos três «tipos» de perturbação esquizofrénica a partir das respostas do sujeito ao teste.
Abstract
In this article an attempt is made to describe the psychopathology observed in schizophrenic subjects in terms of the Szondi test; more specifically the rôle in this contexto of the mechanisms designed as «projection» and «inflation» is discussed. A comparative cluster-analysis of matcher samples of schizophrenic (N=25) and normal subjects (N=27) supports J. Schotte`s theory on the structural affinity between schizophrenic disturbance and the «inflative» position of the self. Three «types» of schizophrenic disturbance are defined in terms of the subject`s response to the test.
