Officials also added that after looking through the missing person's two phones, deputies arrived to the alleged crime scene.

Additionally, it is asserted that Konstantin Subotinov helped Valchinov conceal Peev's mutilated body. Subotinov allegedly stated to police that he drove some of the victim's body pieces to Vitosha, where the victim's purported remains were buried, to aid the alleged killer in concealing the victim's body parts. Valchinov escaped to a hotel in Vitosha, but on Sunday, August 13, his whereabouts were found after tracing his phone. The murder inquiry is still ongoing.
