The Central Criminal Court has placed Ann Phelan, a homeless woman, on trial for the murder of a man who was stabbed in a Dublin apartment last year. On the evening of November 8, 2022, David Ennis (age 36) passed away following an incident at Claddagh Court in Ballyfermot. The deceased was a resident of the senior living complex operated by the municipality.

The Civil Guard and emergency service personnel discovered Mr. Ennis just after 2:30 a.m., reportedly suffering from a stab wound.
