A monster who tricked women into job interviews and assaulted them while they were as young as 17 has been sentenced to 19 years in prison. At Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, Raghu Singamaneni, 50, of Luton, was found guilty of raping and sexually abusing four women. He first encountered the 17-year-old victim during a phoney job interview where he was instructed to return the following day.

The investigator, Detective Constable Hussain Sayem, stated: "This individual used his position of authority to commit several acts of sexual assault on young women. Many of these ladies fell victim to the most heinous sexual assaults after being seduced by the promise of employment.Without a doubt, Singamaneni believed that these women would never criticise him or take them seriously.

"Some sexual predators think they can commit murder without getting caught, but this case demonstrates that they can't and will be prosecuted.
