David Celino Wiki - David Celino Biography
The ticket that signifies the death of another young person has already been sold, according to the father of a 16-year-old kid who passed away after using ecstasy at a music festival.A Wakefield Coroner's Court hearing earlier today heard that David Celino passed away after becoming ill at Leeds Festival in August of last year as a result of using the substance.
Gianpiero Celino, his father, spoke before the inquest about his worries for 16- and 17-year-olds attending music festivals where, according to him, drug dealers treat them like "the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."The ticket that would have indicated the passing of another young person, he said to the coroner, had already been sold.

"It's somewhere out there." It simply hasn't been cashed. In order to celebrate their GCSE achievements, Mr. Celino, a pharmacist from Worsley, Salford, Greater Manchester, said at the inquest that he had driven his son to the festival at Bramham Park, close to Leeds. He stated that he thought the organizers could have done more to prevent open drug dealing at the location.
We believe there is a problem with the provision and availability of pharmaceuticals at the site,' Mr. Celino added. "We believe that the festival can't be safe for 16 or 17-year-olds who attend alone, as it is currently run." David's passing serves as proof that the procedures taken by the organizers to stop drug dealing and keep attendees safe "don't work," Mr. Celino claimed.
Their assurances, in his words, were "theatre rather than facts."Because David had never attended an event like it and might decide he didn't like camping, Mr. Celino told the inquiry that he and his wife had stayed in a hotel close to the festival site. For all six of the guys in David's group to stay in the Camping Plus area of the campground, which offered better amenities and security, he claimed to have paid several hundred pounds, according to the coroner.
After learning that David had become ill and had a heart arrest in the festival's medical center, Mr. Celino explained how he and his wife arrived at St. James' Hospital in Leeds before the ambulance. He stated to the coroner that he thought there should be more search and surveillance activities at the scene and that police was being done at too great a distance.
This, according to Mr. Celino, means that drug dealers can operate without concern for arrest. He claimed that while the laws restricting the sale of alcohol are strictly enforced, people under the age of 18 are especially vulnerable because they frequently turn to drugs instead. Mr. Celino, who claimed to have experience putting safety protocols in place, expressed concern about the availability of medical care at the site.
He asserted that there should be similar provisions for swiftly cooling patients as there are in hospitals, given that ecstasy overdose was obviously the most likely cause of death for young people at the site. Why are we discussing X-ray machines in the medical facility when we should be discussing cold baths, Mr. Celino asked the inquest? The investigation goes on.
