The incident began to unfold on July 9, when Union Police Department officers were called to the burger joint on the Duncan Bypass in Union for a reported disturbance. Police officers observed two women yelling at Burger King workers, threatening and insulting them. When the women ignored the officers' plea for calm, they were arrested for disorderly conduct, Fox Carolina reported. Two days later, Burger King headquarters contacted police, telling them that Major had been serving fries out of garbage to customers. Police investigated the complaints of an upset stomach and a warrant was issued for Major's arrest. The woman had been released from jail after posting $20,000 bail, The State reported. If she is found guilty, Major could face up to 20 years in prison.
