The man allegedly kept firing into the crowd while standing next to his girlfriend. According to authorities, 61-year-old crowd control specialist Lori Williams went to the report of gunshots. According to a news statement from the Wenatchee Police Department's Capt. Brian Chance, the suspect shot Williams "multiple times" after reportedly pointing the gun at him.

One bullet pierced her windscreen, impacting the right side of her face and smashing her spectacles while inflicting lacerations and bruising. Williams received care on site and was then released, according to Chance. The suspect was allegedly pointing the gun at Luksich when police followed the suspect and her girlfriend to a farm field close to the camp, striking her lower body twice, according to police.

The guy was wounded after being shot once in the field by Moses Lake Police Department Detective Edgar Salazar, 35, a former Marine. Luksich was taken to the hospital, treated for her injuries, and then freed after police stormed the scene and separated her from the culprit.
