Multiple felonies are believed to have been committed by a 24-year-old Tennessee man last week when he reportedly kidnapped and raped a woman who was feeding her infant in a public park. According to court documents analysed by Law&Crime, Ryean L. Floyd was detained on Friday and charged with one count of both aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape that resulted in bodily harm.

According to Nashville NBC affiliate WKRN-TV, Floyd knew the female victim before the alleged attack but had not spoken to her in more than a year. The woman's name has not been disclosed by the authorities. The victim and Floyd arranged to meet up in Shelby Bottoms Nature Centre, a public park in Nashville, on Thursday, May 25, according to a probable cause affidavit that the station was able to obtain.

According to reports, Floyd and the victim met up as planned, and the three of them spent some time together in the park. The victim opted to take Floyd home after spending "a while" in the park with Floyd since it was becoming late, according to the police affidavit. According to reports, she put her toddler in the backseat of her car after returning to it from the Shelby Bottoms parking lot.

According to a report from Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV, Floyd allegedly entered the car as the victim was feeding her infant in the backseat and "lifted the woman's skirt and forcibly raped her." Five minutes of the attack were documented on an audio tape that was later given to police, according to WSMV. According to the recording, the woman can be heard "pleading" with Floyd to stop sexually assaulting her as her child cries in the distance.

"I don't really let people get too close."According to documents, Floyd is presently being held in Metro Nashville jail on a $65,000 bond, of which $50,000 is for the accusation of aggravated rape and $15,000 is for the charge of aggravated kidnapping.
