A youth pastor who reportedly recorded girls in his church toilet is now in jail and out of a job. Deputies in Greenville County, South Carolina, claim that their colleagues in Greenwood County provided them with information after that office's independent investigation resulted in warrants and Daniel Kellan Mayfield, 35, was taken into custody on suspicion of five counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of voyeurism.

In a press release, the authorities stated that they had "found that Mayfield had illegally filmed multiple girls, as young as 14, while in the toilet at Gowensville Baptist Church located at 5650 SC -14 Landrum, SC" throughout the course of their investigation. The affidavit claims that Mayfield made a confession to the police.
